Since joining exigere in 2013, Andrew has worked on a wide range of projects across the office sector, with a specialist focus on refurbishment schemes.
Andrew's expertise lies in challenging designs to align with occupiers' needs and evolving regulatory standards. He is particularly adept at navigating sustainable construction initiatives while maintaining design integrity within budgetary constraints.
With an in-depth understanding of the complexities and risks involved in refurbishing existing buildings, Andrew has successfully collaborated with prominent clients such as Dorrington, Stanhope, Duchy of Lancaster, Tower Hamlets, Derwent London, and Credit Suisse Asset Management.
Andrew's collaborative approach with clients and design teams has been instrumental in setting projects up for success from the outset. He excels both in managing projects on-site and in effectively negotiating and settling final accounts.
Notable among Andrew's projects is his involvement in The Laszlo, which clinched the 2022 AJ Retrofit Award. Currently, Andrew is leading on Woolgate, an extensive cut and carve refurbishment in the heart of the City. After steering its successful procurement process last year, the fast pace of the scheme continues as a series of well-considered interventions that make up this refurbishment project are taking form on site.
Before joining exigere, he enjoyed a long-term working relationship with The Royal Academy of Arts, entrusted with several successive cultural schemes, as well as working on a London landmark tower for Heron International.
Andrew's comprehensive understanding of building construction and regulations positions him as a valuable asset, capable of delivering innovative solutions while protecting client interests.
