We made a conscious decision to put technology at the forefront of our business, investing in award-winning, bespoke software and apps to create robust project dashboards, collect data more effectively, and give clients better access to real-time cost information, metrics and reports.
Using integrated, cloud-based technology, we have created a shared, centralised system which automatically generates and tracks a project’s lifecycle automation, backed by a robust office intranet allowing us to share best practice and facilitating seamless internal communication and remote working. Our tools empower people to take ownership of their role and outputs within a rigorously quality checked system.
Our ‘project insights’ app offers a centralised project stakeholder interface, harvesting 1,700 data points from our integrated project, area and cost apps. Digital benchmarking has changed the way we collate data and make it available as a digital experience. Single projects can be compared on a stage-by-stage process in their lifecycle or can be compared to entirely different projects built over different timeframes. The platform helps us to demystify costs for our clients by delivering concise and informative reports in simple, transparent and visually understandable formats.

Operationally, exigere became carbon neutral plus two years ago, but we continue to work towards our science-based targets in projects, collaborating across the supply chain to make meaningful advances based on carbon cost planning and accurate data with regard to life cycle costings.
