We have experienced robust growth over the past few years, with turnover increasing 24% to £10.8m in the 2023/2024 financial year, fuelled by an expanding portfolio of high-profile clients and landmark projects across various sectors, including science, technology, education, healthcare, residential, and commercial.
The new Cambridge office will enable us to strengthen our relationships with existing clients and attract new business opportunities in the Oxford Cambridge Arc region. We have a long-standing connection to Cambridge and the surrounding area, having worked on numerous projects over the years. In fact, our very first project, project number ‘0001’, was in Cambridgeshire - Alconbury Incubator Building for Urban & Civic. Our current projects in Cambridge include Vitrum - a 206,000 sq ft new build lab for Breakthrough Properties, a 120,000 sq ft fully fitted new build lab for Aviva, and several other high-profile projects.
The new Cambridge office, nestled in the heart of this historic and innovative city, will be headed up by equity partners David Happell and Nigel Hawes, along with newly promoted partner Neil Stevens. Their leadership and expertise will be instrumental in driving the company's success in this vibrant region, with plans to grow the office to £3m turnover in the next five years.
