The redevelopment of a new landmark building in the heart of the city
Located in a prominent location in the heart of London, 77 Coleman reimagines and extends the existing 1980s building, delivering retail and leisure units on the ground floor, two basements and seven upper storeys accommodating office floor space and roof terraces. Retaining 78% of the original concrete frame allowed for significant carbon dioxide savings.
exigere had an interest in the project that goes beyond purely cost consultancy. The team had good attendance and contribution at meetings up to tender submission and asked the ‘right’ questions about design in order to firm up costs where possible.
