A complex, new build office constructed around a retained façade
A complex new office development situated within a historic conservation area. The project involves constructing a modern, sustainable commercial space around a retained historic façade and party walls on all elevations. The existing structures behind the façade will be demolished down to basement level, while the iconic Pall Mall façade will be preserved and carefully renovated. This process includes the meticulous dismantling, cleaning, and reinstallation of façade sections.
The new building will rise seven storeys above ground, with a basement and ground floor. It will feature cross-laminated timber (CLT) floor slabs and terraces at the upper levels. With a strong emphasis on sustainability, the development aims for a BREEAM Outstanding rating, an EPC A, and a WiredScore Platinum certification.
The project will deliver a vibrant, environmentally conscious space that harmoniously integrates historical charm with modern functionality.
